Recently, during an NBA Playoff game on TNT, analyst Charles Barkley said he wanted to punch Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors in the face because Green was antagonizing opponents on the New Orleans Pelicans like he always does, mouthing off and getting in people’s face.
Let’s keep in mind the NBA is 75 percent Black so you should know that violence is not acceptable.
Years ago, Ron Artest of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers got into a tussle on the basketball court with the Detroit Piston’s Ben Wallace, sits on the scorer’s table to calm down, and gets hit with a drink by a fan, setting off a melee with Artest and his teammates going into the stands after the guy and some fans. So NBA Commissioner David Stern suspends Artest for 55 games and takes $5 million of his money (Artest’s Pacer Teammate Jermaine O’Neil lost $3 million).
Unbelievable! But this shows you how the level of “slave mentality” NBA players and their union have — allowing so much of the players money to be taken away.
On the other hand, professional baseball and hockey allow players to fight all the time, in fact, it’s part of the their sport’s culture. And, you guessed it, both sports are predominantly White.
What’s wrong with this picture?
Sports is a reflection of American society’s racial issues under a system of White supremacy. And in society, Black violence is not acceptable, unless Blacks are killing one another by way of contained gang violence, for which they will be locked up if caught. Society has determined that we cannot allow Black beasts to be fighting, particularly when White fans are the majority of the patrons during games.
Additionally, no matter how much of an Uncle Tom Charles Barkley is, always bashing Black people (told Black America to “Kiss my a#$” after taking heat for unfavorable comments regarding the police shooting several Black men), he cannot be violent or make threats of violence, even when joking.
